Wear It Now, Wear It Then!
What the heck do you wear this time of year?! If your weather is anything like mine, figuring out what to put on in the morning can be a challenge! Take this week for example… it was almost 80 degrees and sunny on Monday, then Wednesday it was 4o degrees and pouring down rain! You don’t know if you need your boots or your sandals! Today I want to focus on 5 of my favorite pieces to wear right now, but then transition into some warmer days in. the future! (you can click on any picture to take you directly to the links of the items) Let’s dive in!
White Jeans
I have talked SO many times about my love for a good pair of white jeans! One of my favorite things about them is how versatile they are! You can wear them now with a pair of boots and a sweater when it’s still cold out, and then wear them with a tank and slides come summer time! I also find that a good pair of white jeans are easy to dress up or down, and they should defiantly be a staple in your closet!
Lightweight Sweater
A lightweight sweater is one of the easiest things to wear now, and then wear later on in the warmer months. If it is still really chilly out, you can always add an extra layer like a blazer or cardigan on top. Later in the season, I love pairing a light sweater with shorts! I usually end up wearing something like this most spring and summer evenings.
A Blazer
Oh how I love a good blazer! A honestly think that a blazer should always be in your closet, no matter what the season! You can dress them up, wear them in the office, make them casual with jeans or shorts, and even throw them over a sundress in the summer! You just can’t go wrong with a blazer in my opinion!
A Button Down Shirt
Just like a good blazer, I love a good button for the same reason…. you can wear it and style it SO many ways! I love to wear it now with jeans and boots/mules, maybe under a sweater or blazer on a cool day. Then when it gets warmer out, you can easily wear it unbutton with a pair of shorts, or even as a bathing suit cover up!
The Jean Jacket
Let’s finish up this with another closet staple, the jean jacket! Again, this is something that I think should be in everyone’s closet! I find I wear mine a ton in the spring with dresses and tanks since it’s not warm enough to wear them alone yet. I also grab it a ton for summer evenings!
There you go! That’s my top 5 closet staples I think you need to transition into spring! Now bring on that warm weather!
